Customizable Details Tab
Overview
Through customer feedback, it was discovered that customers interact with the ThreatConnect threat intelligence platform (TIP) in different ways and have different needs for their varying workflows. In order to meet the varying and sometimes opposing needs of our customers, an interface that would allow each user to customize their Indicator and Group detail views was implemented. An ability for org admins to provide a default custom details for users was implemented as well.

Designing a Customizable Interface
Within an Indicator or Group details page there are individual cards of information that were set up to be modular in nature. For this feature a special custom details tab that users could set as their default landing page when entering a details page was created. Users could add as many or few cards as they desired for their custom details and had the options of a 60/40, 50/50, 40/60, or full width layout ratios. After adding their desired card they could rearrange the cards via drag and drop.
With implementing the org admin default custom views, came the ability to export a layout to a proprietary file format. This file could then either be shared with colleagues or uploaded in the settings as the org default layout.
